Description
The Ventilair Smart Air Quality Detector is part of the control ecosystem for compatible Calma and Mistral heat recovery systems. Installed in the occupied room, it monitors supported indoor environmental indicators and passes that information to the ventilation controls.
This allows the ventilation system to respond when room conditions deteriorate, for example during periods of higher occupancy, and to reduce unnecessary airflow when demand is low. The result is a more responsive control strategy than using fixed fan speeds alone.
The detector is particularly useful in living rooms, offices, meeting areas, classrooms and other spaces where conditions vary during the day. It is intended to work with compatible Ventilair ventilation equipment and should not be treated as a standalone consumer air-quality monitor.
