Description
The Ventilair Calma Humidity Sensor is an optional control accessory for Calma heat recovery units. It provides the system with a continuous indoor humidity reference so ventilation can respond to actual moisture conditions rather than relying only on fixed speeds or schedules.
When the measured humidity exceeds the configured threshold, the connected Calma unit can increase ventilation to remove moisture more quickly. As the humidity returns to normal, the system can reduce airflow again, avoiding unnecessary high-speed operation.
This is useful in residential and light commercial buildings where humidity changes through the day because of occupancy, washing, cooking or general activity. The sensor must be connected to a compatible Calma unit and is not a standalone humidity controller.
