Description
The Ventilair Calma CO2 Sensor is designed for Calma systems that need to adjust ventilation according to room occupancy rather than operating at one fixed rate.
Carbon dioxide concentration typically rises as more people occupy an enclosed space. By monitoring that change, the sensor gives the Calma control system a practical indicator of when additional fresh air is required. The unit can then raise the ventilation rate and return to a lower setting once CO2 levels fall.
This approach is useful in variable-occupancy areas such as living rooms, offices and meeting spaces, where a fixed schedule may not reflect actual use. The sensor is an accessory for compatible Calma heat recovery units and does not function as a standalone ventilation device.
