The Ventilair Cierzo Wall-Mounted Heat Recovery Ventilator provides balanced mechanical ventilation and heat recovery without requiring a central ducted ventilation system. Installed directly on an external wall, the Cierzo HRV manages both incoming and outgoing air through dedicated wall penetrations, making it suitable for individual rooms where controlled ventilation is required.
Balanced ventilation with heat recovery
During operation, the Cierzo Heat Recovery Ventilator draws stale indoor air from the room while simultaneously introducing fresh outdoor air. The two airstreams pass through an energy recovery exchanger, allowing energy from the outgoing air to be transferred to the incoming fresh air before it enters the room.
This reduces the amount of useful indoor heat lost through ventilation while maintaining regular air exchange. Unlike a single-flow fresh-air ventilator, the Ventilair Cierzo HRV manages both supply and extract air as part of the same heat recovery process.
H13 HEPA and activated carbon filtration
Incoming outdoor air passes through primary activated carbon and H13 HEPA filtration before being supplied indoors. The activated carbon stage provides initial filtration, while the H13 HEPA filter provides finer particulate filtration.
This makes the Cierzo HRV suitable for applications where the objective is not simply to introduce outdoor air, but to provide a more controlled and filtered fresh-air supply.
Designed for individual-room ventilation
With an airflow capacity of 180 m³/h, the Ventilair Cierzo HRV provides substantially more ventilation capacity than small alternating-flow wall units while retaining the simplicity of a decentralised installation.
With a recovery efficiency of 92.5-94% and an operating noise level of 22 dB(A), The Cierzo HRV is an ideal choice for UK homes and commercial premises. The unit operates from a 220 V supply and uses 100 mm wall connections for its outdoor air paths.
Its wall-mounted configuration makes the Ventilair Cierzo Heat Recovery Ventilator particularly useful where a central MVHR system is not practical, or where an individual room requires its own dedicated decentralised heat recovery ventilation system.
