Description
The Lo-Carbon Silent Fan provides effective extract ventilation while keeping noise and energy consumption low. Designed around a 100 mm connection, it is suitable for bathrooms, toilets and utility spaces where dependable moisture and stale-air extraction is required.
Variable speed adjustment allows the installer to set the airflow to match the application. The closed-grille models operate between 6 and 24 l/s, equivalent to approximately 22 to 86 m³/h, with power consumption from 1.7 W to 7.5 W. At low speed, sound levels are as low as 12 dB(A) at 3 metres. The high-efficiency motor is rated for up to 40,000 hours of operation and is covered by a five-year warranty.
Two control options are available:
- Timer: intermittent extraction with a fixed 15-minute overrun timer.
- Humidistat + Timer: automatically activates in response to humidity and continues operating for a fixed 15-minute overrun after the humidity-controlled cycle.
The Lo-Carbon Silent Fan is IPX5 rated, suitable for Zone 1, and meets current UK Building Regulations Approved Documents F and L. It can be installed on a wall, ceiling, window or panel, making it a flexible choice for residential extract ventilation.
