Description
The Ventilair Mistral provides mechanical ventilation with heat recovery directly through an external wall. It is intended for bedrooms, living rooms, apartments and retrofit projects where adding central ventilation ducts would be difficult or disproportionate.
Regenerative heat exchange
During extract, warm indoor air passes through the ceramic heat-storage core and transfers thermal energy into it. Approximately every 75 seconds the fan reverses, drawing outdoor air through the warmed core so that much of the stored heat is returned to the incoming air. Heat recovery is rated at up to 97%.
Three airflow settings of 20, 40 and 60 m³/h allow the unit to run gently for continuous background ventilation or increase output when required. Stated sound pressure ranges from approximately 18.9 dB(A) on low speed to 28.7 dB(A) at maximum airflow.
Humidity response and paired systems
An integrated humidity sensor can temporarily change the operating mode when room moisture rises above the selected threshold. Multiple Mistral units can also be wirelessly paired in leader/follower arrangements so that supply and extract operation is coordinated across rooms.
Wi-Fi control
The mobile app provides access to fan speed, operating mode, schedules, humidity settings and filter alerts. Available modes include regeneration, supply, extract and combined intake/extract configurations, allowing the installation to be adapted to different ventilation strategies.
