Description
The Ventilair Calma is a ducted heat recovery ventilation range intended to serve several rooms from a central unit. With capacities from 150 to 1,000 m³/h, the system can be specified for homes, apartments, offices and light commercial buildings with very different airflow requirements.
Seven airflow sizes
The range is available at 150, 250, 350, 500, 650, 800 and 1,000 m³/h. Selecting the appropriate capacity allows the duct network and ventilation rate to be designed around the actual building rather than relying on one oversized unit for every application.
Heat recovery with full bypass
A crossflow heat exchanger recovers thermal energy from the extract air before it is discharged, with stated heat recovery efficiency above 77%. A 100% bypass can route fresh air around the heat exchanger when heat recovery is not required, for example during suitable mild-weather conditions.
Installation and controls
The casing combines an EPS structure with galvanised steel, providing insulation and structural support. Alternative inlet and outlet orientations are available to accommodate different plant-room layouts and duct routes.
RS485 communication supports integration with compatible external controls. The range also includes filter alarm functions, sleep mode and optional Wi-Fi control. Additional humidity, CO2 and air-quality sensors can be used where demand-led operation is required.
